How To Get Started
Currently, Gaines Bend Utilities provides one primary service to the community:
Pay your Tap Fee.
Before we move forward, we’ll need the $3,198 tap fee, which covers the standard equipment. Depending on your setup, there might be additional costs. You can send your payment via check to: 1 Gibson Dr, Graford, TX 76449.
Have a Chat.
Next, we’ll need to sit down and go over your project.It’s important to do this before you break ground to make sure your plumbing plans align with our sewer system requirements. Call our service number to set something up.
Sewer Backup Insurance.
Most homeowners' insurance doesn’t cover sewer backups. While we hope you never have to deal with one, we recommend looking into a separate policy to ensure you’re fully protected!
Move in.
Once construction is finished, call the office to let us know, and we’ll get your service started! Payment options are listed below:
- Monthly: $70.70
- Quarterly: $207.86
- Semi-Annually: $411.47
- Annually: $814.46
Plumbing Guidelines
Install the trunk line no deeper than 28 inches from the slab’s finished grade to ensure proper function and alignment.
The electrical requirements include a 30 amp, 240-volt disconnect, which must be connected to a dedicated line to ensure proper safety and prevent overloads.
